First Ever Cigar Lounge This Thursday, Six Bouts Set
The Staples Center doesn’t have one…the Honda Center doesn’t have one…the MGM Grand Garden Arena doesn’t have one….but this Thursday at Fight Club OC in The Hangar at the OC Fair & Event Center, fans will get to enjoy a first for the fight business in the last 20 years, a Cigar Lounge where you can purchase a cigar, smoke it right there, and watch all the action of the Fight Club OC pro show!
That’s right, the inaugural Fight Club OC Cigar Lounge will be located right outside the giant Hangar Doors, which will be opened so that cigar aficionados can enjoy a good cigar and not miss one punch or kick. The Fight Club OC Cigar Lounge will be sponsored by Fumar Cigars which will have a great line up of quality cigars priced from $10 and up.
And fans will be in store for an exciting night of action, as Roy Englebrecht Promotions matchmakers Whit Haydon and Mel Valenzuela have put together a strong six bout card. Fans will get to see top undefeated prospect 9-0 Antonio Orozco faces his toughest test so far, meeting Bahamas Olympian Hensley Strachan who is a veteran of 14 pro fights.
Orange County fighters will really dominate the action on Thursday, June 2 as five OC fighters climb into the ring. In a great MMA matchup undefeated Mario Navarro out of Huntington Beach meets Riverside’s Skylar Reider and in the other MMA bout Ozzie Alvarez also from Huntington meets Upland’s Daniel Mancha. Tustin’s Paul Velarde will look to go to 3-1 facing Compton’s Paul Green. Ricardo Garica out of La Habra will be looking for his second win as he faces Edgar Sanchez making his pro debut out of Rosie, CA.
In a very interesting matchup, outstanding MMA female star Jessica Penne out of Lake Forest will be making her pro boxing debut facing Riverside’s 2-0 Sindi Amador. Penne sported a solid 8-1 MMA record including two wins in the Bellator tournament.
Remember, Baja Blues located right next to The Hangar will open at 5:30pm with great Happy Hour Specials!
